My recent stay at Myrtle Cottage was lovely. The location was excellent, with a convenient shop down the road and walking distance to a pub. The cottage had a cosy feel and was well-equipped with everything we needed. I particularly enjoyed the nice patio areas where I could sit out and enjoy the surroundings. Myrtle Cottage had a lovely homely feeling with little touches like real milk and fresh bread that made me feel welcome. The location was great with a shop and pub within walking distance. Basic amenities provided with fresh bread, milk, and extra cooking ingredients in the cupboards. Very flexible host who allowed the addition of a family member for one night and a late checkout. Cozy log fire, perfect for a short break in December. Decorated for Christmas season. Easy communication with the host. Great location, quiet and peaceful yet close to main routes. Lots of information leaflets about nearby places to visit. Milk, tea, coffee, and sugar provided. Supermarkets nearby in case of shopping needs
